Wink - Learn to code with this entry level robot.

Wink was designed as a learning platform for people who are totally new to writing computer code.  Wink was born on Kickstarter in November 2015 and began shipping to backers mid December 2015. The campaign includes lesson plans which are presently in progress.

Getting Started with Arduino

Arduino is a free and open source programming environment that is popular in the Maker Movement for its ease of use and worldwide popularity. The Wink (and Ringo) robots were designed around Arduino for these same reasons. If you're unfamiliar with Arduino, we have published a video explaining the basic interface and going into some simple programming examples. This may be helpful if you have never used Arduino before. This video uses an example for Ringo, but Wink is programmed in much the same way.

Wink Lessons

Wink was designed around a set of lesson plans that are suitable for classroom and workshop instruction, as well as for learning on your own. You may view the lessons individually from the table below. The companion code is a set of complete working Arduino sketches for each of the examples in the lessons. We have also published all the lessons and companion code together in single .zip archives below.
